Six Flags is renowned for its exhilarating roller coasters and attractions. To save on tickets, you won’t want to miss out on the incredible deals and exciting perks that Costco has to offer for Six Flags tickets.
In this guide, I’ll explain what you need to know about purchasing Six Flags tickets from Costco including if their ticket offer is a good deal!
Does Costco Sell Six Flags Tickets?
Yes, Costco sells Six Flags tickets in their store but they are available year-round. I found the Costco Six Flags tickets at the Simi Valley location back in July 2023, when I went back in September, they were no longer available.
When you visit a Costco store, you can look for the Six Flags tickets in the Gift Card section. I was able to see Costco Legoland Tickets and Costco Universal Studios Hollywood tickets there as well.
If you’re trying to buy theme park tickets at Costco, you’ll have a better chance of finding the theme park ticket you need at a Costco location near the specific theme park you wish to visit. And, please keep in mind that product offerings and availability can change. You can inquire at your local Costco warehouse for the most up-to-date information on ticket availability and any special promotions they may offer.

What are the Pros and Cons of Buying Six Flags Tickets from Costco?
Buying Six Flags tickets from Costco has its own set of advantages and disadvantages:
Pros:
- Unique Offer: The Costco Six Flags Pass is exclusive to Costco and you cannot buy the same pass elsewhere.
- No Blackout Dates: Being able to visit any day is the ultimate perk of this pass.
Cons:
- Membership Requirement: To shop at Costco, you need a paid membership, which could add to the overall cost if you’re not already a member.
- Limited Variability: Costco’s ticket option is limited to a Six Flags Unlimited Pass, they do not sell 1-day tickets.
- Limited Availability: The Six Flags Costco ticket is not available year-round.
- Refund and Exchange Policies: Costco’s refund and exchange policies may differ from those of Six Flags, so it’s important to understand the terms and conditions before making a purchase.
- Geographic Limitations: Not all Costco locations carry Six Flags tickets, and availability can vary by region and season. This could be inconvenient if you are visiting from out of state or if you’re an international tourist.
Are Costco Six Flags Tickets A Good Deal?
The Costco Six Flags ticket offer can be considered to be a very good deal only if you wish to visit multiple Six Flags locations, like both Southern California and Northern California locations or Southern California Six Flags and the Hurricane Harbor in Arizona.
If you live in Los Angeles, a Platinum Pass from Six Flags will only cost you $99 which allows you to visit both the theme park and water park in LA (Santa Clarita) so if you only need to visit your local Six Flags versus all 6 of them, buying directly from Six Flags may save you around $40 for a Six Flags pass versus buying from Costco.
