LEGO Photo Spots & Holiday Decor
Legoland decorates for the holidays! From the giant LEGO Christmas Tree at Fun Town to the holiday-themed entrance. Be sure to grab a family photo at one of two brick-taculator Christmas photo spots:
- The 35-foot-tall LEGO Christmas Tree was built from 364,481 LEGO® and DUPLO® bricks and took Master Model Builders nearly 2,909 hours to build. It is sure to dazzle and delight!
- Visit Imagination Zone to grab the most awesome family Christmas card photos in front of our larger-than-life LEGO wreath!
Holiday Characters
During your visit to Legoland California, you can meet holiday LEGO characters like Santa, the Toy Soldier, and LEGO Snowman for holiday hugs, pictures, and selfies.
- NEW! LEGO Santa’s Visit- LEGO Santa has come to town! Meet him at his ALL-NEW home away from home in LEGOLAND for the perfect family photo!
- NEW! North Pole Postal Service- Stop in to write a special letter to LEGO Santa. When you’re done, watch your letter arrive at the North Pole!
- Meet Gingerbread Guy- Stop by his house and ginger “snap” a photo with him and his friends, the elf bakers!
- Holiday Meet & Greets- Take “elfies” with other festive friends including LEGO Snowman, Toy Soldier, T-Rex Costume Fan in his holiday sweater and ALL-NEW elf characters Ivy & Frode!
During our visit, we were able to take pictures with LEGO Santa at Fun Town just below the LEGO Christmas Tree.
LEGO Sleigh and Reindeer
I’m not sure if they will still have the LEGO Sleigh and Reindeer this year but during our visit in previous years, you can hop on a sleigh with a life-size LEGO Santa that’s pulled by his trusted reindeer, also made of LEGO. I was going to take pictures of the girls on the sleigh when they hopped on the reindeer, luckily it didn’t break!
The LEGO Tree is better this year and will be at The Beginning area versus at Fun Town.
Seasonal Shows
Check out holiday shows throughout Legoland all season long! Download the Legoland App for showtimes.
