We had a fantastically terrifying time at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor. By nightfall, the harbor was filled with lights, fire, and live entertainment. Wherever we went, ghouls were happy to get a scream out of us.
Planning to visit? You can get Queen Mary Dark Harbor Discount Tickets for as low as $14.40-20 but some dates are already sold out, click here for more details and availability.
Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor has 8 mazes, 2 rides*, a RIP Lounge (their ghostly VIP lounge), hookah bar, live stage, and many places to eat.
The mazes are all unique, each having their own specific theme. They range from short to long and scary to deathly horrifying. With “Submerged” likely being the longest maze. And “Freakshow” is short and sweet but totally worth getting into. It’s an “interactive” maze that allows you to speak with and observe your ghastly hosts as they entertain you at their stations. Some have very special talents.
The most interactive maze is Encounters. This is a brand new attraction to Dark Harbor. With “Encounters” you must sign a waiver that allows the ghosts to capture you within the maze. Be prepared to be kidnapped!!
While you’re at the Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, make sure to go on the swings so you can fly over the beautifully lit harbor while watching occasional fire blasts from the tops of “Freakshow” and “Deadrise”.
There’s also the RIP Lounge for those who want a little VIP treatment, which comes with a Fast Fright Pass to get you to the front of the line, 4 Drink Tickets good for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and deliciously unlimited chicken sliders.
For those who want Exclusive VIP treatment at Dark Harbor, VIP Cabanas can be purchased for $99, which is good for 10 people. These Cabanas are private lounge areas located in the center of all the action.
In addition to dinner, dessert, and bars, Dark Harbor boasts a hookah lounge where you can take a break from the screams and relax. Among the delicious desserts at Dark Harbor are deep fried oreos, twinkies, and ice cream for those warm October nights in California.
There’s plenty of terrifying fun and festivities at The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor. It’s not for the faint of heart, but it’s an exciting adventure for thrill-seekers.
