Mandalay Bay Las Vegas

Looking for a resort with a lazy river? Head to Mandalay Bay Las Vegas. Not only do you get to enjoy their lazy river but there’s also a wave pool, a wading pool, multiple other pools including an “adult only” pool area. Best of all, it’s one of the hotels in Vegas that has an amazingly comfy bed and pillows. We love how comfy Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is but I think if we’re visiting during the summertime, Mandalay Bay would be perfect for the kids.

The view from our room was the Las Vegas airport which was pretty neat as the kids got to watch planes take off. We were supposed to get a room with a view of the pool but there was going to be a 90s beach party at the pool area so the hotel was kind enough to put us on the other side where it’s guaranteed to be quieter.  Although I may not have minded hearing 90s music especially since All 4 one was there.

The rooms at Mandalay Bay have a modern interior with a separate shower and tub, double sink, and enclosed toilet in the bathroom.

There’s a long hallway with a huge mirror before getting into your room proper. With this design, the bathroom is fronting the room separated by closets.

We have previously stayed at Tahiti Village which is another resort with a lazy river in Las Vegas so at least we have 2 options now when we’re in Vegas during the summer.

Please note that you’d have to bring your own tubes for the lazy river or buy from the resort. The kids did bring their floaties which actually worked better since it was easier to move around the lazy river with it.

Besides the room and the pool, you can also enjoy restaurants at the hotel by renowned chefs like Fleur by chef Hubert Keller or Libertine Social by James Beard Award-winning chef Shawn McClain, amongst others.

If you need your coffee fix in the morning, there is a cafe near the resort’s elevator but don’t go there, their coffee wasn’t good. Go to Starbucks instead which is also at the hotel, more towards the end of the restaurant row.

  1. Oh I’ve been here and it’s great! I like their pool, or as you call it, the lazy river the most. I love all of these pictures. They all came out great and very clear!

  2. Never would I have thought that Vegas and anything “lazy” could go together, much less a lazy river! This is awesome! When I go to water parks, the lazy river is where you will find me! I so have to check out this resort! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. The kids have always wanted to go Las Vegas. I don’t know because they aren’t old enough to do any gambling! LOL This resort is where I want to stay when we do finally make the trip.

  4. I had no idea that Mandalay Bay had a lazy river!I love to visit Las Vegas especially with my hubby or on a girls trip. This looks like a great destination for our next trip! Thanks for sharing because I wouldn’t have selected this hotel without you sharing.
