Known as one of the top songwriters of the last decade, Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas has received a shelf full of awards, both with the band and as a solo artist. Matchbox Twenty rose to international fame with their debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You, which spawned a number of Top 40 singles, including “Push,” “3 A.M.,” “Real World,” and “Back 2 Good.” Their most recent release, North, debuted at number one and included the hit singles “She’s So Mean” and “Overjoyed.”
With 14 Top 10 Radio hits, more than any other artist in the history of the adult contemporary format, the Goo Goo Dolls are at the top of their game. Their biggest hit, “Iris” was number one for 17 consecutive weeks and was named the top song of 1992-2012 by Billboard. They recently released their tenth studio album, Magnetic and the debut single, “Rebel Beat” is climbing the charts.
