I wish there’s a drive-thru and delivery service for everything. I didn’t realize the importance of both until I became a mom of two. Going from one place to another to get errands done and actually getting the kids in and out of the car is such a big production.
I’m happy that there’s now a drive-thru for bank deposits, pharmacy and even our fave coffee chain(Pumpkin Spice Latte anyone?). I don’t need to unbuckle the kids for those. Then there’s delivery service for diapers, toys, gifts, and more so we can skip the driving around altogether. But are you aware you can get fresh organic produce delivered right in front of your door? Yes, Farm Fresh To You is helping me get my fresh produce delivered starting this week.
I got in a bike accident last week where I hit a parked car and hit the ground really bad going downhill. I’m all bruised up but luckily didn’t get any of my bones broken. I’m having a hard time walking though. So skipping the walking around the supermarket is a welcome relief.
But even with a healthy leg, you can cut down on time and money spent at the supermarket if you have Farm Fresh To You deliver your produce. You can even avoid the temptation of grabbing that whole container of croissant and aisle of chips(talking to myself). LOL.
Farm Fresh To You delivers weekly or monthly depending on your preference. They offer different size packages to options of having all vegetables, all fruits or a mixed of both. Their website is easy to use. You can go with the set of produce they put together for you or change some items you don’t like.
I ordered the $46 box and got all of the fruits and vegetables above. Isn’t that a lot? The smallest box is only $26. They also delivered on the day they promised to do so. Farm Fresh To You is a second generation family farm that grows and partners with other organic farms to deliver fresh, seasonal produce directly to your door.
Wanna stay healthy during snack time? You can make a veggie cup with cucumber and carrots and have either hummus or like what we love using, pesto sauce as dip. The little one love eating the grapes on the other hand, it was really sweet and she ate the whole bag in one day.
VEGGIE CUP WITH PESTO DIP RECIPE:
3 Carrots, sliced
1/2 cucumber, sliced
for the Pesto Sauce Recipe:
1 1/2 cups fresh Basil leaves
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pine nuts
2 cloves garlic
1/8 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Put in a food processor or blender then pour oil slowly while mixing. Add salt and pepper.
That’s it. I look forward to opening the pomegranate tomorrow. Hope I get those seeds out easily and not make a mess is the kitchen. We’re also gonna make the melon into popsicles for the kids. And I’ve cubed the rest of the carrots, bell pepper and cucumber to make lettuce wraps with hoisin garlic sauce. It’s gonna be a healthy delicious week with Farm Fresh To You.
