LEGOLAND: LEGO BATMAN MOVIE DAYS EXPERIENCE:
We were able to see the LEGO Batman Movie the night before heading to Legoland. Our toddler is a big Batgirl fan. She goes to school with a Batgirl Lunch bag and loves wearing her Batgirl Dress for pretend play at home complete with a cape. We enjoyed the movie. It had a lot of funny parts into it and the hubby who collected Batman comics as a kid loved the fact that all the villains were in the movie.
The kids were super excited to be heading back to Legoland and this time to have an opportunity to meet and greet LEGO Batman.
Make sure to drop by the front tent after entering Legoland where you can grab a FREE Batman masks and learn about the Scavenger Hunt where you can win that fun prize above.
We turned right after entering and were lucky to get in line for the Batman Meet & Greet that was happening in a minute since we got there. I’ve never been more excited to see a LEGO man. Seriously! People cheered when he arrived and as I turned to see him.. I got really giddy. What a really cool experience to take the kids to meet him.
The LEGO Batman Meet and Greet Schedule is as follows: 10:00am, 10:45am, 11:30am, 12:15pm, 1:00pm, 1:45pm, 2:30pm, 3:15pm, 4:00pm, 4:45pm.
Before indulging in a yummy lunch at Knight’s Smokehouse BBQ and Legoland’s Famous Apple Fries (my 2 favorite), we were able to do participate in the Mystery Mosaic LEGO Build and go on a few Legoland rides.
A few more rides and going to Miniland for the Scavenger Hunt, we stopped by the Life Size LEGO Character Build Activity Area to not only help build but to see – well – life size Batman on the works. Plus, the really cute Robin, I wanted to take him home.
A trip to Legoland is not complete without enjoying Apple Fries and shopping for new Legos. They now carry Batman Mask, Batgirl Mask and a Joker Masks as well as a lot of LEGO Batman sets. The toddler literally run and hugged the Batgirl set when she saw it and said I want this. A.K.A. Buy this mom! She picked a really good set and we went back to the hotel to build and call it a day.
