Happy New Year everyone!!! Where did 2014 go? I really couldn’t believe that it is already 2015. As we strolled around Knott’s Berry Farm yesterday to ring in the New Year, I had a lot of flashbacks not only of 2014 but of the years that flew by. It’s nice to remember milestones in my life through those various visits to Knott’s Berry Farm.
Then yesterday, we got to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Knott’s for the very first time. With extended hours, we really got to enjoy the park at a leisurely pace. Starting out with the rides in the morning, shopping in between, shows, etc.
It’s a nice way to end the year as a family, creating memories together. And we look forward to more trips this year as our second is almost ready for the rides herself.
disclosure: This is not a sponsored post. We were invited as guests to the theme park. All opinions are our own.
My first trip to Knott’s Berry Farm was actually when I was 9. That’s actually my first trip to the US back when I still lived in Asia.
Another trip I remembered was just before I got married, Snoopy was still a hairy mascot then.
Then those were immediately followed by a lot of trips to Knott’s when we got married and had our firstborn. It was at Knott’s that our daughter got to ride the carousel for the very first time, where we witness her ride by herself (airplane ride) as we watched from the side with a sense of pride for our toddler’s independence, yet matched with nervousness not knowing if she’ll cry. And a lot more moments including a funny experience on the School Bus ride where it felt like our hearts left us as it went up and down.

We got to enjoy the bavarian filled stuffed Churro as well and went back to Santa’s Cabin for the Bavarian Pecan that we’ve tried during our Knott’s Merry Farm visit (all these after ordering a whole pizza for lunch at the Grizzly Bear Restaurant.

For now our eldest bid you all a “Happy New EAR” and she’s been telling everyone, “We went to Knott’s Berry FAR” today. Haha. I hope you all have a wonderful 2015. And make sure to visit Knott’s when you get the chance.
