The Pamper Me Fabulous in Orange County just recently concluded. It was their first event out of the three this year. It will be followed by New York & Palos Verdes will happen in November. We were invited to the event once again and had a really fun and relaxing day.
Pamper Me Fabulous is a fun event for women created by women. A full day of girl bonding where you can sample beauty products and treatments, sample food products, do your shopping and some brands also host raffles. You can join in on scheduled exercises.. usually with a view of the ocean; there are photo booths; sampling of bubbly drinks; and a gift bag to take home. In previous years, there has been inspirational talks from celebrities. While this year, free breakfast was added.
I invited my mommy friends to get a break for a day and we headed to Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa where Pamper Me Fabulous was held for the second time. We mostly talked about the kids on our way there(as usual). But when we got there.. we left all the kiddie talk at the door and just enjoyed ourselves.
Whole Foods sponsored breakfast at this years’ Pamper Me Fabulous event. So while the rest of the ladies were doing yoga with the beautiful ocean as their view. We got ourselves some fruits and yogurt from Whole Foods as well as Nutella crepe from a crepe catering service. There was quite a queue at the breakfast setup, but we just sipped on our mimosas while letting the beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean sink in.. after all.. it’s one of those days where we are not in a hurry.
After the quick bite, we went to the Hyundai photobooth for some funny pictures before going inside the bazaar where all the product sampling and shopping happens. I tried the gel nail polish from Sally Hansen. It was a do it yourself thing and I just kind of messed up my nails(I can only be precise on one side, haha). But I thought their fun display of candies and marshmallows to match the different colors of nail polish was a neat idea. I got me some marshmallows after painting my nails red.
Other brands still offered free beauty treatments. From back massages, perfecting your brows to giving your hair a curl. And in between all that, we sampled some bubbly drinks, cupcakes, beef jerky, etc. One product that stood out to me this year though was BluPrint Cleanse. I’ve been meaning to do a cleanse. And their cold-pressed drinks are just really good. From the green juice to the coconut cashew milk. It was heavenly. Mmm.. I wish I have one right now.
We didn’t try any of the exercises but I got my muscles working with pole dancing. I didn’t realize how hard it was until I tried it at the event for the first time. My friend took photos of me while I was trying to spin and I just looked like I was tearing down a pole rather than actually gracefully climbing it. It was hilarious. Lol. It was great to finally have tried it.
We circled everything and was done in over 3 hours at the event. We claimed our Pamper Me Fabulous gift bag which was a Whole Foods lunch bag that contained a few beauty items like like Sally Hansen’s nail polish, nail file, & spray tan for legs, etc. Last years’ gift bag was all food products, check out my Pamper Me Fabulous review from last year here.
In previous years, some would try to score a Pamper Me Fabulous Groupon or Living Social deal to attend the event. But this time, they lowered the usual $30-40 something admission price and it seemed to have attracted even more ladies than the already usual huge crowd. Although it wasn’t like crazy crowded, everyone was just relaxed and having a good time.
We capped off our day with a 2-hour long late lunch at the resort before heading home. All in all. It was a fun & unique bonding experience with friends especially at their price point & beautiful location. I would like to see a bigger workout area and maybe a lounge or seating area be added for breakfast or just to lounge and mingle with the ladies.
If you missed out on this event, Pamper Me Fabulous will be back in Los Angeles in November and it will be held at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes. Check out their website for more details and to purchase your tickets.
disclosure: this is not a sponsored event. We received media passes to attend the event. All opinions are my own. Experiences may vary.
