While the kids worked on the SING free printable activity sheets, I popped some popcorn to accompany our SING movie that came with 3 new mini movies before doing our own SING auditions.
Out of the 3 new mini movies, we found “Gunter Babysits” to be the funniest coz’ it’s so us. We also have a candy on the top kitchen cabinet that the toddler knows about.
Gunter babysits Rosita’s kids and ended up accidentally feeding them all the candies after one baby opened the cabinet. Yikes.
Big sis said she wants Gunter to babysit them then realized Gunter is not real and is merely part of the movie SING. Learn about him and see all the mini movie when you finally get the SING movie in your hands. After the movie, it’s singing time! Big sis sang most of Taylor Swift’s hits while the lil one did Katy Perry’s Roar.
The SING movie stars Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon, an eternally optimistic koala who puts on the world’s greatest singing competition to save his crumbling theater; winner Reese Witherspoon as Rosita, an overworked and underappreciated mother of 25 piglets desperate to unleash her inner diva; Scarlett Johansson as Ash, a punk rock porcupine with a beautiful voice behind her prickly exterior; and Taron Egerton as Johnny, a young gangster gorilla looking to break free of his family’s felonies.
