6. Universal Studios Hollywood Military Discount
Universal Studios Military Discount is offered to all U.S. active-duty military personnel and veterans. You can purchase your tickets at your military base or online once identity is verified via ID.me. In order to obtain a military discount, a valid military or U.S. Government I.D. is required
These special military discounts are not available at the Universal Studios Hollywood ticket booth. To purchase, you must provide a valid ID as an Active Duty, National Guard, Reservist, Eligible Veteran, or Retired Member of one of the following U.S. Military Branches:

Does AAA offer discounts for Universal Studios? Yes, they do!
AAA members can save $20 on VIP tickets and up to $20 to $34 savings on Universal Express and 1-Day General Admission Tickets. Do compare their prices (final price with taxes and fees) with deals #1 to #2 above before purchasing to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Universal Studios Hollywood AAA discount can be purchased online or at participating AAA offices. AAA Universal Studios tickets are not available at the gate.
8. Universal Studios Hollywood Costco Discount
Costco Universal Studios Hollywood Tickets are available both in-store (not year round) and online via their website. They were still available in store when I visited Costco this July 2025.
Universal Studios Costco tickets are for Season Passes only. They are available for $179.99 plus tax (plus there is a $10 off offer as of my July visit to Costco). They are valid for 11 months after 1st registered visit and blackout dates apply for all return visits. First visit must occur on or before January 31, 2026.
9. Universal Studios Hollywood Annual Pass
If you are planning to visit the park multiple times, a Universal Annual Pass may be more economical than buying individual passes each time. You can get them for $10 less when you buy them from the park’s website versus at the gate.

Parking
Parking at Universal Studios Hollywood is $35 before 5 PM and $10 after 5 PM for general parking.
You can also choose Front Gate Parking $75, Preferred Parking $20 to $55, and $25 to $60 Valet Parking. For Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, there are 4 garages to choose from.
If you are staying at either the Hilton Universal or Sheraton Universal Hotel, both offer a shuttle service to take you to the park.
Studio Tour:
The Studio Tour is free with a general admission ticket to Universal so you can enjoy both the rides, shows and the Studio Tour.

Always bring a light jacket even in the warmer months as Universal Studios Hollywood is situated on a hill so the weather may be windy at times especially if you’re at the higher level. Also, bring a hat!
