4. Military & First Responder Discount

Military tickets are available online through the waterpark’s website. Valid US military credentials must be shown at turnstiles along with a Military ticket for admission to the park.
5. Group Discount
Schlitterbahn offers discounts for groups of 15 or more. Tickets start at $38 per person, plus taxes and applicable fees. You may buy them online in advance via the park’s website. Price varies by day of visit.
6. Season Pass – Memorial Day Sale
If you are planning to visit the waterpark multiple times a year, I would recommend getting the Schlitterbahn Season Pass 2025. They come with many benefits including unlimited visits and free general parking.

7. Bring-A-Friend Tickets
Season Passholders can also save on admission tickets for their friends. Tickets start at $30 plus taxes and fees. All Bring-A-Friend tickets must have a current 2025 Season Passholder with them on the day of your visit. Up to 6 tickets per Passholder. 8. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Free Tickets
Offer ended
On Memorial Day, 5/29, all active and retired members, including National Guard, reserves, and veterans, will receive a free ticket to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels valid on Monday, May 29, 2023.
To claim the free ticket to Schlitterbahn on Memorial Day, present your U.S. Military ID at the front gate on May 29. Additional tickets for friends and family are only $34.99 but must be purchased online from the waterpark’s website in advance. Verification required.
9. AAA Tickets
If you’re an AutoClub Member, check your local AAA branch to buy Schlitterbahn AAA tickets.
10. Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club members can save on attraction tickets, check your local store or online to find deals on Schlitterbahn New Braunfels tickets.
11. Coupons
Most theme parks and water parks offer coupons to save. Check with your local Texas fast food like Pizza Hut, Sonic, Taco Bell, KFC, etc. for Schlitterbahn coupons.
EXPIRED DEALS:
- Off-Peak Hours – Schlitterbahn discount tickets after 3 PM used to be available and can be bought at the front gate but they are no longer available.
- Simon Malls – In previous years, local Texas Simon Malls offered Summer Fun Packs to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. The Summer Fun Packs included 2 tickets to Schlitterbahn and a $20 Simon Gift Card for only $85.
- H-E-B Stores – Tickets used to be available at H-E-B stores, we called Schlitterbahn and they said H-E-B no longer carry their tickets.
OTHER WAYS TO SAVE:
Pogo Pass – The South Central Texas Pogo Pass provides both adults and kids admission to 50+ of the best things to do in the San Antonio, Austin, and Waco areas. It does not include Schlitterbahn but you can visit zoos, waterparks, Wonder World, mini-golf, Thinkery Museum, aquariums, play bowling, and more.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE WATERPARK:
Coolers – Coolers are allowed at Schlitterbahn. Guests may bring coolers that are smaller than 26” L x 16” W x 16” D. Glass and alcohol are prohibited. Coolers are subject to search prior to entry.
Water Shoes – Swim shoes are encouraged, but you may need to remove and hold them on certain attractions.
Sunscreen – Lather up! Schlitterbahn is pretty big so make sure to re-apply every so often after your swim.
Beach Towel – The waterpark does not provide towels so save money and bring your own versus getting them from the gift shop unless you want a souvenir of course.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- Life jackets are complimentary and are available to any guest wishing to use one. Children, first-time swimmers, and weaker swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket.
- Water toys and inflatable assists are only permitted in children’s pools. Whistles are not permitted in Schlitterbahn.
- Masks and snorkels are not permitted.
- Various locker sizes are available for all of your personal belongings. Locker rentals are automated and can be paid using debit cards or credit cards
- A limited number of exclusive cabanas are available each day and often sell out.
- Inner tubes are available free of charge and are located at tube pick-up locations throughout the park.
- Blast Pass is available starting at $95 so you can spend less time in line.
