SCHLITTERBAHN NEW BRAUNFELS TICKETS (REGULAR PRICE)
To be able to compare prices, here are the 2024 Schlitterbahn New Braunfels ticket prices if you buy directly from the waterpark, either online or at the gate. Ticket prices are on the higher end during the weekends and at the peak of summer vacation.
- Gate Prices: $81.99 for Adult Tickets, $71.99 for Junior or Senior Tickets
- Online Price: $49.99 to $64.99 for Adult Tickets, $44.99 $59.99 for Junior or Senior Tickets, plus taxes and fees.
- Kids – Kids ages 2 and under are admitted for free.

SCHLITTERBAHN NEW BRAUNFELS DISCOUNT TICKETS 2023
Here are all the available ticket deals for Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Some discounts are from reliable 3rd party ticket sellers while some offers are available directly from the waterpark:
1. Schlitterbahn Discount Tickets – Up to 49% Off
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Discount Tickets are available for only $44.99 versus $88.75 gate price. They are available from Groupon. Tickets are valid now through 7/14/2024. They are available for a limited-time, until supplies last.

2. June Flash Sale – Minimum 4 Tickets
Schlitterbahn is offering a summer kick of sale, discount tickets are only $34.99 per person plus tax and fees ($156.51 total for 4). You need to buy a minimum of 4 tickets to avail of the promotion. Tickets are valid for single day through 6/30/24 only and is available via the waterpark’s website. If you need less than 3 tickets or will be visiting after June, use ticket deal #1 above to save.
3. Explorer Pass to Major Texas Attractions
If you want to visit multiple attractions in Texas, buy the Go City San Antonio Explorer Pass to save which includes admission to Schlitterbahn Waterpark.
Take your pick of 2, 3, 4, or 5 top attractions and save up to 50%. You get to choose one premium attraction with your pass and then select other top attractions. Visiting your first attraction will activate your pass and you’ll have 60 days to visit the rest.
- Choose One Premium Attraction – Schlitterbahn Waterpark, SeaWorld San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta, etc.
- Choose other Top Attractions – Go Rio San Antonio River Cruise, Legoland Discovery Center, San Antonio Zoo, Natural Bridge Caverns Discovery Tour, etc.
4. Military Discount
Military discount to Schlitterbahn Waterpark is available to active and retired military. Ticket prices are $44.99 to $59.99 for a single-day admission, price varies by day of visit. You can purchase up to 6 tickets for family and friends.
Military tickets are available online through the waterpark’s website and probably at the park as well. Valid US military credentials must be shown at turnstiles along with a Military ticket for admission to the park.
I recommend taking advantage of ticket deal #1 when visiting on a weekend or holiday when prices are on the higher to save more.
5. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Free Tickets
Currently Unavailable
On Memorial Day, 5/29, all active and retired members, including National Guard, reserves, and veterans, will receive a free ticket to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels valid on Monday, May 29, 2023.
To claim the free ticket to Schlitterbahn on Memorial Day, present your U.S. Military ID at the front gate on May 29. Additional tickets for friends and family are only $34.99 but must be purchased online from the waterpark’s website in advance. Verification required.
6. Group Discount
Schlitterbahn offers discounts for groups of 15 or more. Tickets are only $42.99 per person, plus taxes and applicable fees. You may buy them online in advance. Price varies by day of visit.
7. Season Pass
If you are planning to visit the waterpark multiple times a year, I would recommend getting the Schlitterbahn Season Pass 2024. They are not discounted but they may be more economical for you as it comes with many benefits including unlimited visits and free general parking.
8. AAA Tickets
If you’re an AutoClub Member, check your local AAA branch to buy Schlitterbahn AAA tickets. They may or may not be cheaper than ticket deal #1 above though.
9. Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club members can save on attraction tickets, check your local store or online to find deals on Schlitterbahn New Braunfels tickets.
10. Coupons
Most theme parks and water parks offer coupons to save. Check with your local Texas fast food like Pizza Hut, Sonic, Taco Bell, KFC, etc. for Schlitterbahn coupons. To save time and money, used ticket deal #1 instead.
11. Schlitterbahn Resort Discount
Schlitterbahn New Braunfels offers seven distinct accommodation styles and room types. You can check the Groupon offer on resort discounts for run-of-house or one-bedroom suites for up to 51% off hotel rates.
EXPIRED DEALS:
- Off-Peak Hours – Schlitterbahn discount tickets after 3 PM used to be available and can be bought at the front gate but they are no longer available.
- Simon Malls – In previous years, local Texas Simon Malls offered Summer Fun Packs to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. The Summer Fun Packs included 2 tickets to Schlitterbahn and a $20 Simon Gift Card for only $85.
- H-E-B Stores – Tickets used to be available at H-E-B stores, we called Schlitterbahn and they said H-E-B no longer carry their tickets.
OTHER WAYS TO SAVE:
Pogo Pass – The South Central Texas Pogo Pass provides both adults and kids admission to 50+ of the best things to do in the San Antonio, Austin, and Waco areas. It does not include Schlitterbahn but you can visit zoos, waterparks, Wonder World, mini-golf, Thinkery Museum, aquariums, play bowling, and more.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE WATERPARK:
Coolers – Coolers are allowed at Schlitterbahn. Guests may bring coolers that are smaller than 26” L x 16” W x 16” D. Glass and alcohol are prohibited. Coolers are subject to search prior to entry.
Water Shoes – Swim shoes are encouraged, but you may need to remove and hold them on certain attractions.
Sunscreen – Lather up! Schlitterbahn is pretty big so make sure to re-apply every so often after your swim.
Beach Towel – The waterpark does not provide towels so save money and bring your own versus getting them from the gift shop unless you want a souvenir of course.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- Life jackets are complimentary and are available to any guest wishing to use one. Children, first-time swimmers, and weaker swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket.
- Water toys and inflatable assists are only permitted in children’s pools. Whistles are not permitted in Schlitterbahn.
- Masks and snorkels are not permitted.
- Various locker sizes are available for all of your personal belongings. Locker rentals are automated and can be paid using debit cards or credit cards
- A limited number of exclusive cabanas are available each day and often sell out.
- Inner tubes are available free of charge and are located at tube pick-up locations throughout the park.
- Blast Pass is available starting at $95 so you can spend less time in line.
