We love Gilroy Gardens as it has a lot of rides for younger kids plus a splash pad that is included in the admission when it is open for the season.
Big kids can enjoy the thrilling Quicksilver Express Mine Coaster. You can also explore 6 beautiful gardens and marvel at the truly bizarre “Circus Trees.”
For a snack, try the Gilroy Garlic Fries. Don’t leave without trying the paddle boats and taking a picture with the cute garlic mascots!
If you’re from Northern California, it’s just an hour’s drive to it or if you’re headed north from Southern California, make sure to make a stop on your way to San Francisco. Gilroy Gardens is worth a visit if you have young kids.
