The 2024 Aquarium of the Pacific ticket prices are $44.95 for adults 12 and up, $29.95 for kids ages 3 to 11, and $41.95 for seniors ages 62+. Kids, ages two and below can enter for free.

For those in the military, you may purchase the Aquarium of the Pacific Military Discount in advance at any MWR/ITT office on base to save on tickets.
5. Student Discount for Aquarium of the Pacific
Many universities in Southern California offer an Aquarium of the Pacific Student Discount. If you are a college student, check with your Student Union or ASI office to save on Long Beach Aquarium tickets.
6. Teacher’s Discount for Aquarium of the Pacific
Aquarium of the Pacific Teacher’s Discount will be available on September 15 and 16, during Teacher Family Days at the aquarium. Pre-K to 12-grade teachers, grade school support staff, and college-level teachers and professors can receive reduced admission. Tickets are $26.95 for adults and $23.95 for kids ages 3 to 11.

8. Aquarium of the Pacific AAA Discount
Aquarium of the Pacific AAA Discount is available via the AAA website or your Southern California Auto Club branch for 20% off gate price tickets plus taxes and fees. Please note that you must reserve the date and time of your visit. Each guest in your party must have a reservation, limit six guests.
Bring your AAA Aquarium of the Pacific ticket and reservation confirmation directly to the Aquarium entrance. For convenience, you can also use ticket deal #1 which is price almost similar to AAA and you can bring your e-ticket directly to the gate for entry.
9. Aquarium of the Pacific Groupon Discount
An Aquarium of the Pacific Groupon discount is not currently available for a 1-day admission ticket so use ticket deal #1 instead. We will update this post if it ever becomes available.
10. Aquarium of the Pacific Free Day
Receive free admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific during Veterans Day, Seniors Day, or First Responders Day. The events require advance reservation and is of limited capacity. No walk-ups are allowed. Details below.
- Veterans Day 2024 – Veterans and active military personnel can enjoy free admission at the Aquarium of the Pacific on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024.
- Seniors Day 2024 – Seniors ages 50 and above can visit the Aquarium for free on Seniors Day, October 7, 2024. A valid photo ID is required.
- First Responders Day 2024 – Police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and EMS employees can receive free admission on September 11, 2024. Must provide a current and valid service ID.

Long Beach Aquarium Hours
The Aquarium of the Pacific is open from 9 AM to 6 PM every day of the year except Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
Can You Bring Food in?
The Aquarium of the Pacific does not allow any outside food within the Aquarium. However, they do have picnic tables located on the plaza on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any snacks, lunches or edible items may be consumed in this area. A cafeteria-style restaurant called Café Scuba is available for guests on the second floor.
Parking
Parking at the Aquarium of the Pacific is $8.00 for the day with Aquarium validation. The parking structure for the Aquarium is steps away on the waterside of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way. Park at the structure all day, and visit The Pike and Shoreline Village for food and shopping before or after your visit to the Aquarium.

Know Before You Go
- Wheelchairs are complimentary – can be checked out at the information desk on a first come, first serve basis. A credit card is required at the time of check out.
- No Strollers for Rent at the Aquarium – The Aquarium offers baby “backpacks”, which can be borrowed free of charge at our information desk. They do not offer strollers at this time.
- Cameras and video cameras are permitted at the Aquarium – As long as the footage is for personal use. Tripods are not permitted.
