If you’re visiting the aquarium on a weekend, take advantage of this Aquarium of the Pacific Discount of only $19.95 – $29.95. There is a $2 convenience fee but you will save $3 on child tickets and $5 on adult tickets.
Ticket Deal #3: All-Day Pass to major LA Attractions including Aquarium of the Pacific

Ticket Deal #6: Teacher’s Discount
During the month of March, teachers can use the Aquarium of the Pacific Teacher’s Discount which is only $7 for preK-12 teachers, grade school support staff, and college-level teachers and professors. Friends and family are only $10 per person with a limit of four (4).
Aquarium of the Pacific Free Day
Aquarium of the Pacific Free Admission is available almost every Friday nights. You can get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch bamboo sharks and see large sharks such as sand tigers as well as rays in the Aquarium’s Shark Lagoon. Live Bands Performances are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Coffee, hot cocoa, beer, wine, desserts, and snacks are available for purchase.
Long Beach Aquarium Hours
The Aquarium of the Pacific is open 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. every day of the year except Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
Can You Bring Food into the Aquarium of the Pacific?
The Aquarium of the Pacific does not allow any outside food within the Aquarium. However, they do have picnic tables located on the plaza on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any snacks, lunches or edible items may be consumed in this area. A cafeteria-style restaurant called Café Scuba is available for guests on the second floor.
Parking at Aquarium of the Pacific is $8.00 for the day with Aquarium validation. The parking structure for the Aquarium is steps away on the waterside of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way. Park at the structure all day, and visit The Pike and Shoreline Village for food and shopping before or after your visit to the Aquarium.

Know Before You Go
- Wheelchairs are complimentary – can be checked out at the information desk on a first come, first serve basis. A credit card is required at the time of check out.
- No Strollers for Rent at the Aquarium – The Aquarium offers baby “backpacks”, which can be borrowed free of charge at our information desk. They do not offer strollers at this time.
- Cameras and video cameras are permitted at the Aquarium – As long as the footage is for personal use. Tripods are not permitted.

In celebration of the holiday season, Santa Diver will be delivering an ocean of gifts to the Aquarium of the Pacific for its animals, including penguins, sea otters, seals, sea lions, lorikeets, and fish. The Holiday Treats for the Animals festival kicks off Aquarium Holidays, which runs December 7 through 23, featuring festive décor, a display of gingerbread houses, daily Penguin Parades at 10 a.m., holiday shopping, snowfall in the Great Hall, a special holiday menu in Café Scuba, and daily appearances by Santa Diver and Aquarium characters in their holiday outfits. A toy drive runs daily December 7 through 23, and supports the Long Beach Fire Department Spark of Love Toy Drive. On weekends December 7 through 23, including Holiday Treats for the Animals festival, the Aquarium will have a snow play area, children’s crafts, and photo opportunities with Santa. Hanukkah storytelling with opportunities to play dreidel will be presented on select dates.
Tuesday, December 31, 2019 – 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.
Ring in 2020 at the New Year’s Eve Night Dive at the Aquarium of the Pacific. It will be a night to remember, with live bands playing in the Great Hall and DJs spinning in the galleries—all curated by the team that brings you Night Dive. This event will include dancing, a cash bar, small-bite appetizers for sale throughout the Aquarium, and a midnight countdown.
