About the Show
The Pageant of the Masters is a 90-minute theatrical performance where famous works of art are brought to life onstage. Presented under Laguna Beach’s starry-summer night sky, the 2025 Pageant will also feature live, original music by a live orchestra and narration, all presented in the 2,600-seat amphitheater of the Irvine Bowl.
2025 Pageant of the Masters Theme
The 2025 theme for Pageant of the Masters is “Gold Coastl Treasures of California”! This year’s theme will take you on an unforgettable journey along California’s coast, showcasing masterpieces from world-class museums like the Getty, LACMA, Laguna Art Museum, de Young Museum, Timken Museum of Art, and more, plus iconic monuments from some of the state’s most famous cities. With living pictures, original music, and captivating storytelling, the Pageant brings California’s rich legacy to life in a way you won’t want to miss.
Highlights include Edgar Degas’ “Little Dancer, Aged Fourteen” from the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena and Millard Sheets’ “Pleasures Along the Beach” from the Hilbert Museum at Chapman University.

The dates for the Pageant of the Masters 2025 are July 5 to August 29 while the Festival of Arts is scheduled from July 2 to August 29, 2025, closed on July 4th.
How long is the Show?
The Pageant of the Masters run time is 2 hours, including a 15-minute intermission. The doors open at 7:30 pm, curtain time is 8:30 pm, intermission is 9:30 pm and the show ends at 10:30 pm.

Parking
There is no Pageant of the Masters parking available directly at the Festival of Arts facility. There are a very limited number of spots located directly in front of the box office for pick up/drop off.

Age Requirement
No children under the age of four will be admitted into the theater. Every patron must have a ticket, sit in a seat, and be able to sit quietly throughout the entire performance.
Accessible Seating
Wheelchair and accessible seating are available online directly from the Festival of the Arts website, but you may also call the ticket office at 800-487-3378 if you have special or complex seating requirements. Bariatric seating is available by phone for large patrons.
Dress Code
It is warm and sunny in Laguna Beach during the summer but the temperature can drop once the sun goes down and because the show is held in an outdoor amphitheater, the Pageant is recommending that guests bring a blanket or a sweater to the show. You can also bring a binocular and seat cushion to the show.
