LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is preparing to open its first indoor family roller coaster, Galacticoaster, on February 27, 2026, with Passholder Preview before its opening. This attraction marks the first indoor coaster added to LEGOLAND® Florida Theme Park since it opened in 2011.

Galacticoaster Indoor Roller Coaster
Galacticoaster combines storytelling, interactivity, and modern ride technology to create a space-themed experience designed for families. Riders board LEGO®-themed spacecraft and take part in a mission set within the LEGO® Galaxy, beginning in a briefing area and continuing through launch and the coaster ride itself.

Personalized LEGO Spacecraft
Before boarding, guests can customize their spacecraft through four build phases: nose, tail, wings, and special features. Each completed design is turned into a digital spacecraft that appears during the ride experience. The coaster reaches speeds of up to 40 miles per hour and offers more than 625 possible customization combinations. It also features the first animatronic LEGO® Minifigure to appear in a LEGOLAND® attraction.

LEGO Galaxy Play Area and Store
The LEGO® Galaxy area includes additional themed experiences. Younger children ages 1–4 can explore the Junior Astronaut Training Zone, a soft play area designed to introduce toddlers to space-themed play in a safe environment.
Throughout the area, guests will find LEGO® brick-built space models and Minifigures displayed as part of the environment, providing visual details and photo opportunities.
Tribute to Iconic LEGO Sets
LEGO® Galaxy also pays tribute to LEGO® space themes from the past 50 years. SPACEPORT 885 is inspired by the classic 885 Space Scooter set, one of the earliest LEGO® space releases. Other LEGO® themes represented in the area include LEGO® City Space, LEGO® Friends, LEGO® DUPLO®, LEGO® Space Police 3, and additional space-themed lines.
At the end of the experience, guests can visit Orbital Outpost, a retail location offering LEGO® space-themed sets and souvenirs related to the attraction.
