It’s been days since we saw the Sesame Street Live Show at Nokia Theatre. And my toddler still wakes up saying, “Sesame Street” or asking to watch it on TV. She’s got a hangover from the show!
We arrived an hour early to go to the Play Zone where there were lots of built up SesameStreet backgrounds to take photos with. It’s like being on the set of Sesame Street. Ernie, Bert and Cookie Monster came out to do some sing and dance too. We got to see them really up close. How cool was that!
After we grab some nachos, popcorn and drinks. We settled into our seats for an afternoon of broadway-like songs with all the Sesame Street characters.
All the Sesame Street characters were literally all on stage at the same time for the most part, singing and dancing. Elmo got a hold of Abby’s magic wand.. and then.. oh wait..I won’t tell you more. Because there’s still a Long Beach performance happening this weekend and I don’t wanna give the story out.
My daughter was at the edge of her seat and watched intently as Abby tries to look for her magic wand. It was all new songs that was not familiar to me. I do wish they sang some of the more familiar songs like Rubber Ducky. Other than that, the show was great.
We also love the Sesame Street merchandise for sale and couldn’t figure which one to buy. Yes.. the tot wants it all and so do we. We agreed with an Elmo stuff toy.
