What do you get when you put together a chick flick, a tea party and awesome friends together? An amazing night! Thanks to Teavana, Fox Home Entertainment, American Novelist Nicholas Sparks, and the really gorgeous looking James Marsden, me and my friends had a fabulous time together.
I spent all day, literally all day, preparing for my tea party featuring Teavana’s First Blush Tea and “The Best of Me” movie. We started out with yummy tea pastries and munchies from Whole Foods while I showed my guests how to use the Teavana Perfect Tea Maker, which is so easy to use, tea lovers should get one.
Teavana sent their Valentine’s edition First Blush Tea and it was amazing. It smells divine and you don’t even need sugar or honey for it. I gave my friends the option to have it hot or iced. I set up a huge mason jar for the cold one. And made the hot one by request. My friend even brought her heart straws for the cold one. I’m not a huge tea drinker, but this really won me over.
Everyone loved the First Blush Tea. We’re so lucky that Teavana finally opened in our city. Everyone wrote down the name and wanted to get one. I invite you to check it out. We all loved it. Thanks Teavana for letting us try it.
But the First Blush Tea & Perfect TeaMaker wasn’t the only star of the night. We did a movie screening of The Best of Me as it’s out now on blu-ray and dvd. And James Marsden did not dissapoint, acting wise and hotness wise. Mmm.. please don’t ask me about the lady actress’ name, I didn’t even bother to find out. My focus was on James Marsden and to make sure I don’t cry too much since this happened to be a Nicholas Sparks movie and I’m with friends. LOL.
The Best of Me movie started out slow to be honest with you. But I know Nicholas Sparks was trying to build up its story to make you really choke up in the end, and I did. It’s a beautiful story, just get the tissue box ready. If you liked The Notebook, you’ll like The Best of Me as well.
