Knott’s Berry Farm is like Santa Claus to my daughter. She behaves whenever I mention it. For a good 2 weeks, I got to pull the Knott’s card on her so she’d go to school and not pretend to be sick. She’s quite the homebody but not when you mention Knott’s Berry Farm.
But she’s not the only one who was excited to go back to Knott’s. I was too! Because they have a new ice skating show and a new 4-D interactive ride plus tons of new shows just for this Summer. We visited over the weekend and I can’t wait to go back.
I’ve been watching Knott’s ice skating show every year since I first saw it back in 2005. They have different productions all the time. One for the summer, another for the winter. It’s actually the first thing we’d do whenever we visit Knott’s Berry Farm. And this summer’s production of Blockbuster Beagle is definitely a must see.
Another thing you gotta do at Knott’s this Summer is to try their new interactive 4-D ride, Voyage to the Iron Reef. We.. totally.. love.. it!!! Except for the toddler who got a lil scared. So four of us rode, you wear 3D glasses, then in front of your ride are laser guns so you can shoot sea creatures that looked like they are really coming at you because of the 3D effect.
I thought our preschooler will get scared, but right when the ride ended, she said, “I like it!” I wasn’t able to take pictures during the ride because I was holding our toddler with one hand and the laser gun with my other hand. But I highly recommend it. You also get to see your picture and score after your ride.
