The LEGO-themed rooms are not the only thing you’d look forward to when you’re staying at Legoland Hotel or Legoland Castle Hotel, the FREE breakfast buffet is just as amazing. Quite overwhelming, actually, but I’m not complaining and I hope they keep it that way.
Check out the myriad of options you can indulge in at Legoland Hotel Breakfast Buffet Restaurant – Bricks Restaurant.

LEGOLAND HOTEL BREAKFAST BUFFET FOOD OPTIONS:
There is something for everyone at Bricks Restaurant. The buffet breakfast is included in your room rate and they are pretty generous. They will even ask you if you have any dietary needs and they will guide you to what you can eat before they even seat you down. They are also available for dinner (for a fee) and I’m curious as to what they offer at their dinner buffet—I heard it’s Prime Rib. We’ll try that on another trip to the Legoland Hotel. But first, check out what you can eat at Bricks Restaurant below. Let’s itemize it, this is a few of what I remember:
- Sausages
- Bacon
- French Toast
- Pancakes
- Waffles
- Biscuits and Gravy
- Cheese Blintzes
- Tater Tots
- Bagel
- Assorted Pastries
- Smoked Salmon
- Hard Boiled Eggs & Scrambled Eggs
- Made to Order Omelette
- Oatmeal
- Grits
- Kid’s Cold Cereal
- Roasted Potatoes
- Sauteed Vegetables
- Sauteed Mushrooms
- Muffins (Chocolate Muffin and Blueberry Muffin)
- Fresh Smoothies (Orange Mango Smoothie and Mixed Berries & Banana Smoothie)
- Parfait (Vanilla Parfait and Strawberry Parfait)
- Mixed Fresh Fruit
- Soft Serve Ice Cream
- Bananas
- Milk
- Chocolate Milk
- Coffee
- Teas (variety of flavors to choose from)
- Juices (Orange Juice, Apple Juice, etc.)

The entrance to Bricks Restaurant during breakfast is not through the hotel hallway but rather outside fronting the theme park. When you’re checking in at the hotel, they will give you a card that indicates your dining time. 7-8, 8-9, or 9-10. You get to choose but don’t worry about oversleeping and missing your dining time, you’d still be welcomed. The 8-9 is the famous slot and was no longer available so we got the 7-8AM one. Entrance to the park was at 930AM that day so we decided to eat breakfast, head back to the room to shower, check-out and by 930 AM, we were already at the LEGOLAND gate. So the 7-8 breakfast time actually works.

If you frequent Legoland, I would recommend heading to Carlsbad simply to stay at the Legoland Hotel and save the theme park for another trip. This way, you can maximize your stay since there are so many things the kids can do at the hotel itself.

Enjoy your big breakfast at Legoland Hotel then head to the theme park for early admission as a perk of being a hotel guest.
For lunch at Legoland California, I would recommend the tri-tip at Smokehouse BBQ inside Legoland theme park, check our Legoland Dining Guide for more info and pictures of what we love eating inside Legoland.
