Looking for free things to do in Las Vegas with your kids? I would suggest getting off the Las Vegar strip to see Silverton Casino Hotel’s 117,000-gallon reef aquarium and see live mermaids and stingray feedings!

The giant tank features over 4,000 tropical fish plus stingrays and sharks and scheduled interactive stingray feedings and live mermaids.
We were recently there and our mermaid loving daughter loved it. She after all just recently requested for a Little Mermaid Birthday Party.
She was hesitant to go near the aquarium at first. But warmed up after seeing all the other kids interacting with the mermaid.
The mermaid made sure she gave each kid enough one on one time before playing with the next kid, and also gave parents that needed time to take pictures.
She even did a handful of backflips. I honestly loved it and would like the opportunity to swim like a mermaid too!
Mermaid swims take place:*
Thursdays between 2:15 p.m. & 8:45 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays between 2:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
There’s also stingray feeding show but we weren’t able to catch it at this trip.
Interactive feeding shows:*
Daily at 1:30pm and 4:30pm.
The staff marine biologist are equipped with a full-face communication mask and answers guests’ questions during the feeding show.
*Check with website for accuracy being visiting as schedule may change.
In addition, the Mermaid Lounge features two 500-gallon jellyfish aquariums lit with LED lights.
