3. Glittering Lights Veterans Discount
Veterans/families can enter Glittering Lights for free with VIC ID (Veteran Identification Card) or DAV ID card (Disabled American Veterans ID) to celebrate Veteran’s Day on November 11, 2023 during Veteran Appreciation Night.
4. Glittering Lights Military Discount
On November 13, during Military Monday, all active and inactive military/families can receive free admission with valid ID. Veterans and active duty military must present the ID at the entrance to Glittering Lights to receive free admission.
Also, every other day a $2 military discount is available when purchasing tickets at the Glittering Lights with a valid ID. Offers can’t be combined.

Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a drive-thru light show. It is Nevada’s largest holiday drive-thru show and a Nevada holiday tradition for more than 20 years. Enjoy more than five million lights along a 2.5-mile course.
Driving through Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway takes approximately 40 minutes on average.
Own Vehicle VS. Santa Tram
To see the Glittering Lights, you have the option to ride your own vehicle or to ride the Santa Tram.
Glittering Lights tickets are per vehicle not per person so you can load as many in your vehicle while the Santa Tram tickets are priced per person. It drives through the same route as self-drive.

Santa Tram
The outdoor boarding area for the Santa Tram features festive decor, fun games, and plenty of family photo selfie opportunities and Santa.
Children 2 years of age and younger are free as long as they ride on a lap. Riders should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to boarding time to fully enjoy the festivities.
Concessions
Concessions will be available on-site. You will drive your vehicle right past the concession area where a Boy Scout will take your order, should you choose to purchase, and deliver treats right at your vehicle – so you don’t leave your vehicle. Cocoa, water, kettle and butter corn are some of the items available.
The Discount Glittering Lights Santa Tram tickets (ticket deal #1) already include hot cocoa and kettle corn while the discount for the self-drive already includes hot cocoa.
Dates and Hours
Glittering Lights Las Vegas is open daily from November 9, 2023, to January 7, 2024. Sunday to Thursday hours are 4:30 PM to 9 PM while Friday, Saturday, Holidays, and December 16 to 26 are 4:30 PM to 10 PM.
Other Info
- Pets are allowed in your vehicle.
- Glittering Lights fireworks show is available on New Year’s Eve at 9 PM.
- A few speedway restrooms will be open to the public near the entry, however, there are no restrooms inside Glittering Lights, so go before you drive through.
FastPass
The fastest entry into Glittering Lights is the premium FAST PASS where you can dash to the front of the line to bypass rush time for less waiting. To guarantee a spot, pre-purchase online via Glittering Lights’ website. A limited number of tickets may be available on-site but based on availability.
Getting There
To get to Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, DO NOT USE GPS. Instead, take the 1-15 North. Exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.), turn right. Stay on Speedway Blvd for approximately ½ mile. Merge to the FAR RIGHT LANE. Follow signs to Santa Tram entry.
