Hunting for that perfect, long stem, “chubby face” pumpkin? Come to Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch, right in the middle of the city! With lots of straw bales, corn stalks, mountains of pumpkins, gourds, and more. Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch is sure to give you a little of the “country” feeling.

Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch will be much different and smaller than in previous years. They are making changes and downsizing this event to ensure the safety of everyone.  When the Pumpkin Patch reaches capacity, as one family/group exits, another family/group will be allowed to enter.

Expect to have lines, so come prepared to wait before entering. It is recommended to visit us during the week or early morning on the weekends to avoid lines.

Face covering will be required to enter, and a lot of rides and attractions will not be available. The train, petting zoo, and some game booths that will be sanitized after every use. Additionally, there will not be field trips or parties.

You are welcomed to pick your own pumpkins and take pictures.

We hope to make the best of this Halloween season for everyone to enjoy.

2020 Underwood Family Farms Pumpkin Patch

For 2020, Underwood Family Farms will transform for the fall season into a 50-acre giant Pumpkin Patch, Pick Your Own & Harvest Experience. While the traditional Underwood Family Farms Fall Harvest Festival will be postponed until 2021, they will offer acres of pumpkins, fall harvest decor, multiple photo opportunities, a Country Store, rides to and from the fields, and viewing of their animals. Weekends will include roaming entertainment at a distance.

Masks will be required at Underwood Family Farms upon check-in, check-out, in our stores, and on the wagon rides. 6′ physical distancing between groups required. This = 2 rows between groups in the Pick Your Own fields and a cow’s distance from others in the pumpkin patch.

Forneris Farms Harvest Festival 2020

 

Activities will be limited at Forneris Farms Pumpkin Patch this 2020. The corn maze will not be available this year. Practice social distancing & wear a face covering while at the Farm.

Light refreshments (weekends only) will be available for purchase: bottled water, soda, kettle corn.

Farm-style restrooms & hand sanitizer stations available. No pets allowed except for trained service dogs.

Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch 2020

 

Tanaka Farms is one of the only farms with a REAL pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin right off the vine.

The Tanaka Farms Hello Kitty Pumpkin Patch will not be available this 2020 but you can enjoy either the Drive thru Pumpkin Farm Experience or the U-Pick Pumpkin with Wagon Ride:

Drive-Thru Pumpkin Farm Experience runs every Saturday and Sunday from September 19th through October 31st.

Take a leisurely 1.5-mile drive around the 30-acre Tanaka Farms! Includes a pumpkin, samples, a barnyard educational exhibit with farm animals, lots of fun stuff to look at, a scarecrow contest, sunflowers, and more! This option is an in-vehicle only option. You will not be exiting your vehicle, except for one optional stop where you will pull off the path so you can pick your own pumpkin in the fields. (Please note that there is a 9 1/2 foot vehicle height clearance.)

First car in at 9AM and last car in at 5 PM. Admission is $20 per person (ages 3 and over). 2 and under is free but do not receive items included. Active and Retired Military (FREE, ID required at check-in).

U-Pick Pumpkin with Wagon Ride runs Monday through Friday from September 21st through October 30th.

Take a wagon ride led by one of their tour guides around the 30-acre farm! Includes watching them launch the pumpkin cannon, a ride through the barnyard educational exhibit with farm animals, lots of fun stuff to look at, a scarecrow contest, sunflowers, U-Pick veggies, and a pumpkin you pick yourself! Please note you will not exit the wagon until it is time to pick your vegetables and pumpkin. This activity lasts about one hour.

Admission is $25 per person (ages 3 and over). 2 and under is free but do not receive items included. Active and Retired Military (FREE, ID required at check-in).

Tanaka Farms is taking the following safety precautions:

  • Reduced the capacity of wagon rides from 80 to 20, or no more than 10 persons per wagon to ensure safe social distancing.

  • Cloth face covering or mask is required when visiting the farm. Tanaka Farms staff will also be wearing masks to protect you.

  • Hand Sanitizer is available at several locations, including at Check-In and on the wagons.

  • We will provide single-use containers (bags/boxes) for you to place your picked items in for safety.

  • We sanitize the wagons regularly.

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch 2020

 

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch will be much different than in years past. They are modifying and scaling the event down to ensure the safety of all visitors as well as their staff.  When the Pumpkin Patch reaches capacity, as one family/group exits, another family/group will be allowed to enter.

To purchase a pumpkin, you will have several options shown to you by a staff member from behind a counter that you can choose from. You will not be able to walk around and pick out a pumpkin, like in previous years.

In addition to the train and hay wagon ride, there will be a couple of game booths that will be sanitized after every use and a few photo opportunity areas for you to take photos with your family or group.

It is strongly recommended that you visit during the week or early morning weekend hours to avoid any lines and ask for cooperation and patience when visiting.

Known as the celebrity haunt, Mr. Bones is where most of the celebrity kids go to for pumpkin patch yearly.

From Beverly Hills, it now moved to Culver City where you can enjoy a pumpkin village, pony ride, a tipi rest area, face painting, giant rocking horses, super slide, bounce houses, straw maze, pumpkin decorating, and family-friendly entertainment on weekend afternoons. Water and snacks available for purchase.
