We look forward to visiting Chill at the Queen Mary every year. If you haven’t been to Chill, avail of Chill discount tickets and enjoy ice sculptures inside the Ice Kingdom, go Ice Tubing, Ice Skating, and so much more. There’s even a swing from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch, and a complimentary Polar Express 4D Experience aboard the Queen Mary that is a must try. Children 3 and under are admitted for FREE.
Chill takes place at the grounds in front of the Queen Mary ship. Some of the activities are outdoors, while the Ice Kingdom and Ice Tubing are both inside the giant dome – once home to the legendary Spruce Goose. Check all the activities you can do at Chill, Tips and our Chill Queen Mary Review below. We were there during a media preview last weekend and the kids loved it!
Things to do at CHILL Queen Mary in Long Beach including Tips:
ICE KINGDOM AT CHILL: A 13,000 sq. ft walk-thru exhibit featuring larger-than-life ice creations some towering over 2.5 stories tall and made using over two million pounds of ice. Temperatures drop to a numbing 9-degrees inside the Ice Kingdom. This year’s theme is A Christmas Carol. Included in your Chill Queen Mary Tickets.
TIP: Parkas will be provided at Chill Ice Kingdom, even for the kids. But I suggest bringing gloves and scarf for your face. It’s hard to take pictures when your hands are freezing. Also, make sure to slide down the ice slide inside ice kingdom, it’s quite an experience.
NEW AT CHILL 2015 – ICE BAR AT ICE KINGDOM: Hop aboard the R.M.Ice Queen Mary for a one-of-a-kind Vodka tasting journey. Choose three vodkas to sip or shoot at their 9 degree Ice Bar inside the Ice Kingdom for just $15. Must be 21+. No admittance without CHILL ticket.
ICE SKATING AT CHILL QUEEN MARY: Ice Skate at the 6000 sq.ft. outdoor skating rink. Additional $15 for a 45 minute session though.
Tip: Skate rental is included in the $15, but you can also bring your own ice skates. If your kid can’t skate, they have penguins they can hold on to help them that you can borrow for FREE.

CHILL QUEEN MARY REVIEW:
Chill at the Queen Mary is a great holiday event with all the fun activities you can do all housed in one place. Activities are not geared for toddlers, but they are admitted for FREE, so it’s okay. It’s better to visit at night when all the lights are lit, the lights makes everything more magical. I suggest you visit the place for a one of a kind experience and take your time so you can enjoy everything. Don’t forget your gloves and scarf for Ice Kingdom. Have Fun!!
