Winter Lantern Festival comes to the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area for its first immersive DMV Winter Lantern Festival! From New York with 150,000 annual guests, 3 years in a row, this is an experience you don’t want to miss!
Starting from 12/16/22 (new start date) to 2/12/23, the Lerner Town Square at Tysons II will be transformed into a dazzling world of light with over 1000 Chinese lanterns; all handmade by artisans with decades of experience.
The DC Winter Lantern Festival will include Chinese myths, legends, and zodiacs. In addition, handmade lanterns encompassing a world of ice, including displays of mammoths, polar bears, and penguins are the main attraction. Decorations with interactive light swings, see-saws, and tunnels are also present.
