WHAT IS LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA KIDS GO FREE?

The Legoland California Kids Go Free is basically a Buy One Get One FREE offer that allows you to purchase a full-price adult ticket to get a free child ticket for ages 3 to 12. The 2 for 1 Legoland promotion is available for purchase via Legoland’s website.

Save $24 to $27 per ticket for the extra people in your group, keep reading, we’ll discuss how.

How much are the Legoland California Kids Go Free tickets?

There are 2 Legoland California tickets you can choose from with the Kids Go Free offer:

  • Free 1-Day Sea Life Hopper Child Ticket with Full Paid Adult Ticket (Legoland Theme Park + Sea Life Aquarium) – from $149 plus $9.99 processing fee
  • Free 1-Day Legoland + WaterPark Hopper Ticket with Full Paid Adult Ticket (Legoland Theme Park + Legoland Water Park) – from $154 plus $9.99 processing fee

The free child ticket is valid for kids ages 3 to 12 with a paid adult ticket. Kids 2 and under are always free and do not require a Legoland California ticket.

With the Legoland California Kids Go Free offer, it’s like you are paying $79.99 per person (1 adult, 1 child) for a 1-Day Sea Life Hopper ticket and $81.99 per person (1 adult, 1 child) for a 1-Day Water Park Hopper ticket.

The water park is NOT open year-round. Check their operating hours. LEGOLAND California is closed on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September – February.

This offer is also available for Legoland Florida and Legoland New York but for a different ticket type.

How many can I buy per coupon?

Legoland’s rule is you are only allowed one complimentary child ticket per coupon.

Technically, you don’t need a coupon or promo code to purchase the tickets BUT you are limited to only buying 1 Kids Go Free ticket (Buy One Get One) per transaction so if there are 4 of you in your group, like 2 adults and 2 kids, you would need to do 2 transactions.

For the extra people in your group, don’t buy the tickets directly from Legoland as they will be more expensive. To save, get the Sea Life Hopper ticket for only $112.15 and the Resort Hopper ticket for only $119.46 (using promo code CYBER).

When we visited Legoland last month, there were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids) so I did 3 separate transactions when buying the Kids Go Free ticket for the 6 of us and bought the 7th ticket at a discount from AresTravel. Details below on how you can save for the extra people in your group.

WHERE TO BUY ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA TICKETS?

After buying your Legoland Kids Go Free ticket, get the rest of the tickets for the extra people in your group at a discount instead of buying them directly from Legoland as it will cost you $139 to $144 per person if you buy direct. Here are my recommendations to save:

Please note that the discounted ticket from AresTravel comes with a 2nd Day Free while the Legoland Kids Go Free ticket from Legoland is only for 1-Day but you are still paying less for the extra people in your group with this deal than buying direct.

But, if you want everyone to visit for 2 days instead of 1, you can skip buying the Kids Go Free ticket and just buy these discounted tickets.

If you want to only visit the theme park and wish to skip the waterpark or it is closed for the 2024 season, only buy the discounted 1-Day Legoland California for the extra people in your group – $101.79 versus $111.79 (use our exclusive promo code CYBER)
